One of our Christmas classics has us sing, "No more let sins and sorrows grow, nor thorns infest the ground." It offers us a powerful symbol and a reminder that we still live in a broken world. And yet, something dramatic has happened. Joy has come. Christ has come. Come rejoice with us in this reality as we pray, "Let earth receive its king!"
