Forty years ago, media critic, Neil Postman, wrote the book Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public Discourse in the Age of Show Business. Many Christians at the time embraced the book as a clarion call to awareness regarding television culture.
The Gospel Coalition commemorated the publication of Postman's book with Scrolling Ourselves to Death: Reclaiming Life in a Digital Age. The various authors of this book begin with Postman's thesis and then offer practical advice for living as Christians in the age of the internet.
